Here is the list of the at present functional mods and that you can download.
It is an attempt to organize the finished works, so gamers could use ingame.

Most of these mods or scenarios are using the new "custom" directory that comes with the 1.08 version of the game.
While waiting for the publication of the 1.09 version of the game which should allow to have multiple "customs" directories, it is more careful to make a backup of your "custom" directory as well as the original "stalingrad" directory.

This list will be modified as soon as a new mod will be available or when those available will be modified.

Only one scenario so far but it's a big one :

Bloody Gulch
Play as German.
June 13th, 1944.
The 6th Fallschirmjäger Regiment has been reinforced with assault guns from the 17th SS Panzergrenadier Division to retake Carentan. Southwest of Carentan they made contact with the 101st Airborne.
You must break the American line while maintaining a force that will be able to fight effectively in Carentan.
Armor from the Normandy beaches could arrive at any time.
You may redeploy from the default starting positions. Do not forget the SS Dedication ability.

Two new maps, new FJ units, and new 101st units.

The heroes of the Blitzkrieg mod allow you to recreate the furious combats of the 1940's blitzkrieg on the western front. It includes three playable scenarios.
The Heroes of the Blitzkrieg mod includes too :
- 10 counter sheets
- 10 map bmps
- All of the .mpp and .map files necessary for HotB and the three scenarios (one of which is already posted “The Hell”)
- All of csv files necessary

Great job! Thanks for the one-stop shop. A couple of comments.

72 IS GREATER THAN 88 requires more than just the .map to work. If you don't mind please you can just refer them to the instructions in that scenario's thread.

I am trying to get hill 621 to work...I have 1.08 It seems that the map is not loading the one that I am seeing examples of...It does not show the Hill pieces of terrain. Can someone show me what needs to be DLed and what to install where?? Cause I thought I did it right and had everything needed to play it, but it is not showing up right(the map...no hills)

No, the maps should be fine. If you are gonna play "hill 621" you want to play it with the 3D Line of Sight working. It is a hill scenario. The 3D line of sight and line of fire wasn't completely fixed until 1.09. In prior versions the level 2 and level 3 hexes couldn't "see" over anything. In 1.09 they can.

I've installed every beta version as soon as it came out. I use the editor a lot and that's the most untested part of the software. I have had no problems with the game after installing a new version that wasn't already there in a prior version.

It is your decision.

I am becoming frustrated with this scenario stuff. The scenarios are themselves GREAT, but I tried to do this for 1.09 and it is not working (I am unable to open modules.dat). Is their anyway to make scenarios for dummies, like that can just be downloaded and will place themselves correctly to be able to play them? I am not teech savvy...I just want to play some of these scenarios and use these awesome looking counters that have created.

The programmers have already made a lot of change since the first version of the game. And I think (I hope) that they are going to implant an automatic mods selection system in the next version...

Please moderators, stick that thread! This is a very useful one.

Thanks to all modders for your time invested in this great variety of new scenarios.

There is a section on the Matrix web site where people can upload scenarios and addons. Is this still active? The last upload dates back to 2011. It would be a great place to centralize them.

link was difficult to get to--i had to cut off link at mods to get it to work

so i just changed my original msg concerning a broken link to "nvm" i got it to work.

Downloaded and played a one of the new heroes of the gap scenarios after placing counters, etc in proper files. HOWEVER, although I was able to play an original HoS scenario, when I tried a different scenario from this mods (laska2k4 - Hill 253.3), my Germans had soviet tanks (T-60's). Tried playing 88 is enough and the german PzIII was a soviet T-26. IS there any way to make these scenarios work together? It seems a waste to only be able to use some of these and not all.

When you want to play other custom scenarios just remove the HotG custom .csv files (like "Sprites.csv" and "Units.csv" and "Nations.csv") from "Matrix Games\Lock n Load Heroes of Stalingrad\Custom" and save them somewhere else. Then install the mod according to their instructions. When you want to play HotG again place those HotG custom .csv files back in "Matrix Games\Lock n Load Heroes of Stalingrad\Custom." They are working on making this easier.

The other files and original game files are fine. Just don't touch the "\Matrix Games\Lock n Load Heroes of Stalingrad\Stalingrad" folder.

I just downloaded Heroes of the Blitzkrieg and the download is fine. What is happening is this: People (including me) are adding new units and this entails changes in the csv files contained in the Custom folder.

Right now with my mod the 10 counter sheets will not overwrite anything when you install. Nor will the 10 map bmps. Nor will the mpp and map files. I made them so that they were unique and would not overwrite anything. But the csv files (which is why you are getting the T26 and Su 76 as German units) HAVE to overwrite the existing files in the Custom folder.

What you have to do is take the existing Custom folder and back it up. Give it a different name. Then you have to copy the mod you are playing Custom folder in place of the original Custom folder. And you need to do this for every mod. Kinda of a pain in the ass.

There is a file called module.dat that I think is supposed to help with this but I have not messed with it yet so cannot explain it (or even if it helps this situation).
