Hello CrackSabbath, and welcome.

All BigBabes - DaBigBabes A, B, & C, as well as DaIronBabes A, B, & C can be played as Allies against the Japanese AI. Not perfectly, there are some burps and blivets, but good enough to get to know the system.

All BabesLite - DBL A & B, can be played against the AI, either side. Can be played with any AI file written for a stock GC scenario, including Quiet China.

Give BabesLite a shot, first. It has all the "special" AAW, ASW, device data, some tweaky OOBs, and Don Bowen's Babies (extra ships and ship types), so you can get a good "feel" for the Babes difference. Then take on one our lot in a DBB game

Thanks for the clarifications.

I'm currently playing Iron Babes C w/ extended map, stacking limits and the AI scripts that came with it (didn't replace anything with stock scripts)against the AI and so far have been no major glitches by May '42......just the usual AI doggedly following scripts sending invasions into locales covered by Allied air.

As long as I hold back and resist the temptation to trash the AI I can live with the lack of extra goodies the AI gets in true Ironman scenarios.

This mod is awesome and I owe a big thanks to the one who prompted me into trying it when I was being overly resistant to trying of mods.

I've been trying to look it up in the forum, but could not find anything:Is Ironbabes still playable ONLY against the AI (as it says in the Dabebs site)? Because I'm trying to start (for the 5th time!) a pbem and would like to play Ironbabes to give the Jap a
little help at the beginning, but of course we dont want no sync issues.
Thanks

IronBabes plays just fine for PBEM. It was designed as a PBEM scenario.

Thing about the AI is that it is only realistically playable against a Japanese AI. There's too many bumps in the road for reliable play against an Allied AI. That's what the "only" means.

Daryl (drw61) did the main work on IronBabes. Did a fabulous job, too. Enjoy. Ciao. J

Everyone here, even the guys who "make it go" are all volunteers. They do it because they want to.

Best...game...ever. Period.

Of course! that was only a joke, for I see them so dedicated that you wouldnt believe they do it only because they love it. I mean, such a hard work! Great people, no question. Michael from Oz, Symon from... ? and all the others who are there to help. thanks
