Reading about some of the incidents people have had, and also my own recent experince with vickers medum tanks has reminded me of an old cartoon I saw in a wargaming magazeen years ago. So i thoughrt i would share this image with you all.
Picture a desert landscape. in the distant background to the left of the picture is a sand dune, and apon the sand dune can be seen 2 german 88mm FLAK 18's, their crew standing around, looking to the right in amazement, some have removed thir helmets and are scratching their heads...
In the center of the picture there is a Honey M3 light tank, it has 4 non-standard portholes, 2 each side, the crew are looking through them with a look of bemusement...
To the right and up close are 2 x 88mm AP projectiles flying along side by side...
One projectile says to the other, "Say, was that armor we just went through , or a light mist?"
BTW, Wild Bill, you still interested in reading about my 1st scenario with the 2nd Div Cav Regiment? I tried to post on monday, but you know the story...
"We're having a war, and we want you to come!"
So the pig began to whistle and to pound on a drum.
"We'll give you a gun, and we'll give you a hat!"
And the pig began to whistle when they told the piggies that.
