This one is quite humorous. International Female Chess Master Alexandra Botez was playing people while streaming in February. In her defence she was talking about dating disasters but she lost to a dude with a rating of 1006, which is very ordinary.

Her reaction was funny. She and her younger sister Andrea, who is also excellent at chess, have a good sense of humour.

Maybe she was more distracted that he was or he is a very fairy good chess player.

If you're gonna post female chess players, why not the best? The lovely Ms. Botez has achieved the title of Woman FIDE Master (WFM), while Russian Kateryna Lagno and the Ukrainian Muzychuk sisters are GMs and are ranked in the World top ten (please see https://www.2700chess.com/women ), and German Elisabeth Paehtz is an International Master (IM).
Pictured below are Lagno, Anna Muzychuk, and Paehtz.

This move makes no sense. I guess that the winning move was Rook in d8.

Edit: Yes, looking at the board the White won with Rd2-d8

If posters don't name them, how are we supposed to know who some of these girls are? Who is the figure skater, for example?

At first I thought she might be, and thank you Billy Birmingham (The 12th Man....google it), "...that very rootable darling of the ice, Katerina Witt", but it isn't.

Thought for sure Dorothy Hamill was famous enough not to need naming.

There's no up or down in space. That's just more Northern Hemisphere prejudice :)

Look at you all, squished up down there. Too much land and not enough ocean. You could use some of our sea breezes :)

A 1970's figure skater? Erm.... no.

Don't know why ladies aren't named. I think most people do though.

Dorothy Hamill started a haircut fashion among young ladies that outlived her Olympic fame.

Other ladies celebrating are Sandra Bullock, French actress Alice Isaaz, and Dame Helen Mirren.

I never heard of Alica Schmidt until this. Can you imagine if in real life she passed by you and asked for directions or something like that -- I would not be able to speak.., or whatever I said would be like a cartoon character from the past when they see smoking hot gals. DAMN!!!!!!!!!
