If I have a ground unit's fragment that contains engineers and the fragment fortifies itself in a hex, then if the parent unit arrives and they both merge, does the complete, merged unit assume the fortification level of the fragment?

Good question.

I know (since I just checked) that different units in same hex can have different Fort levels, so it's not hex based...but between parent & fragment... Pity I didn't check before I rebuilt 5th AUS Div in Port Moresby few turns ago.

Sometimes it is only the threat of prolonged incarceration that keeps me from strangling my own fragments.

Watch out for them engaging into parricide!

Sometimes it is only a fragment of your imagination.
