I have a small question about retrofitting.
The advisor comes with a message about a retrofitting action due to a certain new component being available. The message tells you how much the retrofitting would cost, but is there any way to see which units are affected?

My mainstay fleet suddenly crossed the entire sector to retrofit back home, but I would rather have them retrofitted later. As far as I can see there is not a really clear indication of which units will go back to base to retrofit and which wont?

The retrofit suggestion message will automatically retrofit all ships that would benefit from the new research or components. If you want to retrofit only some, then decline the suggestion and go into the ships and bases screen, where you can select multiple ships and bases and tell them to retrofit, while leaving out those that you want to wait.

Regards,

- Erik

Ah that sounds like a good idea indeed (and logical).
Thanks for the info.

Piggybacking on that, when you have tons of ships, seeing what ships have what can be aggravating to see what ships have what. If you sort by Military Ships, then by Type -- look at the Size and Maintenance cost differences, you can see which ones are updated at a quick glance.

Trust me, start goofing with your own ship designs - it not only helps you to understand stuff -- it makes the game super addictive!
