What game(s) have/had the best special features that make/made playing them more interesting?

Back in the early '80s, when I had my first PC, an AT with 512K RAM, no HD, and a 12.5 mhz processor, I bought a 'what if?' game called 'Patton vs Rommel'. An interesting little game based on a hypothetical meeting between Patton and Rommel following D-Day. The feature I found most interesting was that following each turn, either General Patton, or Field Marshal Rommel would offer their opinion of how you did, and how to do better. Only a few times did I manage to do so well that I got 'I am pleased with your performance' messages. :D
