I was amazed at the research that went into this game, and especially intrigued by the different ratings the leaders were given in different catagories.
We have read of the great exploits of these sometimes magnificent warriors, (and even of their occasional mistakes and human foibles), but few of us had really been able to put a face to the name.
I started this quiz series to portray some of the contributors to the pages of history, without just showing the top echelon.
All were in theatre, and some have become near forgotten.

Now, what will you say when the quiz involves a soldier?....I suspect most of us are historians, professional or amateur?

Nah, the real test will be when you put up the second level politicians who made the decisions which ultimately resulted in WWII.

I think everyone in the forum would easily recognize pictures of Adolf Hitler - he is the only politician, in any country, whose decisions led to WWII.
For Japan, the decisions were made by the military leaders, not politicians - unless you count Emperor Hirohito as a politician.

Il Duce? But honestly, Tojo was military leader in name only by the time WWII started. Politicians do start wars. Military types end them.

Very enjoyable, especially because of the brief history of the person.
