Just wondered what the best plan as Axis during blizzard is regarding air units and HQs.

Presumably ground elements in these units suffer blizzard attrition like any other unit?

Do they, then, benefit from the same rules regarding towns and cities that apply to combat units?

The manual talks about a high chance of missions being cancelled in bad weather, but I cant find a mention of whether there is a higher attrition rate for air units flying in bad weather - more operational losses or not?

So what have other Axis players done with their airforce during first winter? Exacuated to safety, or used as usual?

Thanks for the link, very interesting, but I had read this already and it doesnt answer any of the questions I have asked, unless I missed something.

If anyone else has any views, that would be good.

I would think it's best to put all planes in the reserve, since penalties flying in blizzard weather are bad and op losses will be high for minimal gain. Maybe keep a couple of recon squads on hand if you need some intel on where the soviets are massing though?

Well this is it: I'm wondering how high operational losses will be, cant find a mention in the manual about increased % of operational losses during blizzard.
