solar radiation in gas clouds?

Post by Data »

i may sound silly but playing with the editor i found that a gas cloud has the same three types of radiation as a star; the obvious implication is that we can use collectors in them as well now to save on fuel

the question is, is this normal? i know that gas clouds are present only in nebulae that are remanents of old stars explosions.....but where does the solar radiation fit into this?
...Igniting stellar cores....Recharging reactors...Recalibrating hyperdrives....

Might just be a gameplay balancing thing
AMD Ryzen 7 2700X 8 Core @3.7GHz
2x16 GB Vengeance LPX 2666MHz RAM
MSI RTX 2070 Armor 8G
SSD Drive
