July 43 and these guys showed up. Not much experience but as Stalin once said: "Quantity has a Quality all it's own".

Can you load them all on one ship for transport?

JohnDillworth is right, it was Stalin who said that (about the Soviet Tank-Park 1939).

What is really concerning is that it isn't just a data entry error as the editor shows the group is to arrive with 12 A/C.

Yup, It is winding it's way to Rangoon, which I recently captured. I have 12 b-25's that have been unable to stop Japanese shipping in the area. Wait till they see these fellas show up!
I know it's game-y but I am starting a new game when the patch shows.

Get it someplace where you can withdraw the unit.  Nice shot in the arm for the SBD pool.

If I withdraw will it bolster my SBD's or just my other group of a-24's?
Latest update is it made it to Karachi with 16 ready 106 not. It is going to take forever to get this unit ready.

He shouldn't need to withdraw them to get them in the pool. They should cycle back through reserve if they are over the establishment of 12.

Edit; make that 16.

Only if the game has been patched.

It's likely that the squadron will never go above 16 ready aircraft. The rest will sit until needed to replace losses.

You're right. A-24s. I saw the planeside and immediately {and wrongly} thought SBD.

The group isn't set to arrive w/ 12 in my game either, it's set in the scenario db to arrive w/ 122 but it is a typo where someone added an extra 2 in the editor by mistake. This is scen 1 patch 1 for me so would need to be fixed for the future. A quick fix once it's in the game is to upgrade it to something else then upgrade back to A24's & it should have the 16 max & you'd have a boatload of A24s in the pool for replacements.
