Please tell me your going to fix it. I'm tired of sending out a TF and telling them to refuel and they don't, either at a waypoint or at the destination. They do refuel when they get back to their home port. Oh good, very useful.

My TFs refuel every time by; Having the TF to be refueled set with 2x patrol way-points, normally 2-3 hexes apart. Then just set the refueling group to refuel the said TF, and 'hey presto' next turn (if TFs are in range) one refueled TF.

I publish before on the same thing, howeveeer I'll repeat the latest.

I set a Tk TF to go from Abadan to Perth escorted by a KV. although the tankers have enough leg to get to Perth they do not have enough to get back without refueling so its told to refuel. By this I expect it to refuel at perth for the trip back. A refueling waypoint at Diego Garcia currently a level 2 port with ample fuel is also set up incase its needed. Immediately the TF leaves port the fuel turns RED. It should not turn RED, with the refueling set up there is sufficient to carry out the mission. The next problem occurs 4 or 5 hexes out of the waypoint, the KV runs out of fuel the only way to fix it is to set the home port as Perth so that the tanker fuel now goes green. I can now refuel the KV.

This is a regular occurance for my TK comvoys and for many cargo/transport TFs from anywhere to anywhere if they do not have the legs for the round trip.

If I'm doing something wrong fine, just tell me what otherwise it's a bug.

The next problem is refueling at the destination. I've had a number of TF try and make the return trip without refueling at the destination despite setting it to refuel.

As a separate issue those that do tend to fill up when a minimum or tactical refuel is what I would like them to do.

IIRC, the developers said the reason why the endurance #'s turn red is because it is calculating the internal fuel on board the ships only, and not taking into account mid-journey refueling, waypoint refueling, or refueling at the destination (which is automatic for TF's unless you turn it off).  IOW, if any ship in the TF has insufficient fuel to make the round trip, the ship will turn red; if no ship has enough fuel to make the round trip, then the TF's endurance # turns red.

I agree that's annoying when I set a TF's destination for Brisbane from Pearl Harbor and add two waystops at Christmas Island and Noumea (both with plenty of fuel) and watch the #'s all turn red, but as long as they actually refuel at the waypoints I'm OK with it.
