Ugh. I take it the remaining art is considered critical for the release? Couldn't that come in a subsequent patch?

We could probably do that in another week.

Seriously, we think the art will be done very soon, then we need to check the editor manual and the Tutorial manual, etc. several things on the list. But getting shorter everyday ...

Joe - thanks I didn't realize we were talking about something that dramatic on the art. I'll leave the project management to you guys from here until release.

I would actually like to see a " plene " top. Not sure at all what it would look like .

Actually, at this point I would be perfectly happy with a 'plain top' if it meant we could start digging through the OOB

Keep up the great work though! Amost there!

I was under the impression it was all sorted aside from getting a few plane tops to line up with their gun flashes. Admitedly that could be far more complicated to sort than it seems, but it still seems a small issue.

Don't post this beautiful peace of art in the general thread area, or the 'dreaded all-knowing them' will pull it apart.

It's a sort of see-through light purple or violet...

Now that Crimguy has shown what is possible it could delay the project several more months as the developers bring the art up to the new standard. I think we need to ban Crimguy from the forum until after the initial release.

Hmm, well if this is an example of " no tops ", then I can live with it.

OK I admit I didn't draw the guns to scale, and they in turn look more like 17" guns than the 18.1" guns of the Yamato. But I tried dammit. And the portrait of Aruga Kosaku is dead-on-balls accurate. I stand by that part.

I really don't think I could stand the criticism of the general public.

Don't let them get you down man. I think you did a great job. The proportions, lines and scale are perfect imo. 'Tho now that I think about it, where is the AA ?
