OK Guys you may like this or not I will try to post a few turns every chance I get This is me v the AI its March 1943 on the enhanced Japan Scenario - I stepped into an AI v AI game about a month ago as the allies and am currently reorganising ready for a counteroffensive. Situation General Allied AI whom I am replacing faced a difficult situation - the Japanese had invaded all of Western Australia and captured Darwin in the North, PM is in Japanese hands and the Japanese advance is all the way south to teh Marquesas The allies have lost 4 Carriers and only have 2 operational carriers left. SEAC is rebuilding but is not ready for offensive operations yet SWPAC I am short of carrier assets - the allied AI recaptured Lunga and Munda The Japanese attack on North Australia was stopped by the militia 2nd Australian Div at the battle of Katherine but at a huge cost with the loss of the port I cannot ship in more troops and sustain them so what I have on scene is pretty much all I will get unless I bring in ships and those a rew in short supply. We pick up the action as the first of my plans begins to come into action The rested and recovered 2nd Aus Div is on the attack only to discover I waited to long and the Japanese have skipped town In parrallel an Armoured Car Regt advanced on the Western Rail Head at Kalgoorlie in a recon in force only to discover the Japanese have NOT abandoned Western Australia The recon in force has a mix of Humbar US made M3A1's and AC1VP armoured cars and Lastly I am staging a major naval invasion of PM - and well it didnt go to well covering B17's out of Australai were grounded by weather and wave after wave of Japanese bmbers just reduced the US pacific Fleet by another flat top - I knew I shoulda waited.....
