Is it possible to remove the "quantity"-limitation in the Scenario Maker for BFTB?
The Scenario Maker won't allow to set the qty to "0", it insists on a value above "0".

That means, you can't just take away ALL vehicles or let's say ALL heavy weapons from a given unit.
I did this in HTTR, and it helped to transform motorized units into march Bns, for example. Prince of Eckmühl just stumbled over this issue, where he can't set the Vickers Mk VI's qty to "0", which would have enabled him to use the 4th RTR HQ unit (for Brevity/Battleaxe) from the estabs, as the AI seems to have a hard time attacking with the mixed HQ unit, since it contains Mk I tanks and relatively weak Vickers Mk VI tanks.

Yes, I got into this issue as well. However if you set percentage of the whole estab very low , EquipQty eventually can get equal to 0.

Opposite sides of the problem I think, GG was wanting to eliminate specific equipment from a full Estab unit, and Helpless is seeing scare equipment being eliminated by reducing Estab percentage size to low values.

Exactly, Lieste. The percentage deal doesn't do the trick when you want to do without a certain type of vehicle or weapon, as it will just equally reduce the amount of all equipment, i guess.

Being able to set the qty to "0" for some weapons and vehicles, AND let's say reducing the ammo for rifles made for some interesting (and realistic) unit compositions, I created Volkssturm units, for example. While they had up to 400 troops, some of them behaved like a bunch of old men turning away from the battle (running), where others (with stubborn morale settings) seemed to behave like Hitler-youth Volksturm units, where (in my units) every 5th or 6th man/kid had a Panzerfaust. That turned out to be a neat surprise for the British RTR .

I post it not as a trick, just to say that 0 values are pure functional. Editor just don't accept them.

It's a trick in terms of trying to get at least a half-way customized scenario, despite of having to dance with unaccessable estabs.
