I just started playing this scenerio. Is there still a game building or did everyone move onto other things? So far I am only playing the PDRC but I am enjoying that.

I have spent some time looking at this game and starting several first moves, but I'm afraid I have too many higher priorities.

So lets see we could have 4 players here interested right? Lunaticus, RufusTFirefly, jjdenver and myself. So who would like to play what and what version are we playing? I just downloaded and installed version 6.3 I think I have version 6.2 yet in my download folder. I think NATO starts not sure the order after that. I think its Russia PDRC then US.

Turn order is
1. NATO
2. USSR
3. PDRC
4. US

My personal preference might actually be PDRC...

I'd prefer USSR. 2nd choice would be U.S. 3rd choice PRDC, 4th choice NATO.

Let's play w/ the latest version from the scenario bank.

3. PDRC Lunaticus
4. US  open

Lets hear from Rufus on what he would like and whoever is the NATO player can generate the game.

It seems like hatemf90 wanted in also. He didn't express any preference. Neither did Rufus. So once one of those guys picks a country we can start. Hopefully one of them takes Nato so we can have him just start the game.

Hello guys,

two slots (NATO, US) left, three players (autarkis 1967, hatem90 and me) interested. So I step back and let you play the game. In case one of the others decides not to take part, I would like to take his position.

Have fun, RTF

Hmmm dont forget that i uploaded a new version of the scenario (v63). Since the USSR generally seem to have a problem in this scenario you could download it and play with USSR political advantage selected. (it gives 5PPs extra to the USSR each round, not much, but still something. Still i think its balanced enough that a good USSR player will kick a newbie NATOs ass :)

I have only heard of the USSR winning in this scenario once. So i am always interested in the outcome.

Although NATO is not my first choice (did it only one time and failed ), I will take that and get the game started. Maybe I can take profit of experience made in last attempt.

Who wants to take USSR and get the file as next player?

Edit: NATO turn1 is done. File send to hatem90. So autarkis 1967, is it ok for you to take US? Lunaticus wants to take PDRC, he is third in line to get the file.

Hello guys,

hatemf90 has told me that he cannt use option of automatic intercept. Last turn I did several air strikes, while he could not react. I want to suggest to have a break til the problem is solved. Otherwise it would not be fair. I can attack with my air force whereever I want while he has to see how his units are blown up without his fighters disturbing me. Ok for all?

Hi,

Rufus thanks for your concern, Lunaticus suggested that it might be because I am mixing fighters with bombers, and that prevents it from intercepting at all, regardless of supply and distance

Last turn I managed to separate fighters, and lowered intercepting to 25% rediness, so you should see my fighters in the air... but if they dont then I should try to solve it first or i will face complete dsitruction...

And the war is not coming along so bad I would say. We liberated like Helsinki, Hamburg, Berlin, Vienna, Seoul, Hiroshima, Nagasaki from capitalist oppression...

Interceptor problem is solved. NATO did two air strikes. Both times the WP interceptors attacked.

Due to the pummeling that the US is gettting in the Asian-Pacific area and how close that the PDRC is to winning anyway the US surrenders. NATO also feels they do not have much of a chance of winning the war in Europe and also surrenders. A good game played by USSR and PDRC. In almost every theatre they dominated or where about to dominate.
