They are not included.

Edit: According to Conways they were never used. These were passenger liners taken over by the army in 1944 (yes the ships were launched in 41/42 but not modified to have a flight deck until 44). There were only 2 converted to "carriers", both were torpedoed by US submarines on trials. Neither had a flight deck capable of landing aircraft. Conways doesnt say what type of aircraft it did carry but the compliment was only 20. They werent seaplanes as there was no crane for recovery.

Edit: Page 213.

In which differs crane for recovering seaplanes from other cranes? Akitsu Maru had at least one (i think two) crane for moving planes from hangar to flight deck (they had no elevator) and to help offload ship in port.

I see no reason why these cranes could not recover seaplane.

Well Conways says it had an elevator aft. I will quote:

These passenger liners were taken over by the Japanese Army in 1944 while on the stocks, and modified as landing ships, the 20 landing craft being launched through stern doors. The bridge and funnel were moved to starboard , to allow the installation of a 403ft x 74ft flight deck for flying off the ship's aircraft. The single lift was at the after end of this deck. Plans to remove Akitsu Maru's stern derrick and extend the flight deck to allow landings were never put into effect. Both ships were torpedoed by US submarines.

Edit: If this thing carried both 20 landing craft AND 20 aircraft, them planes had to have been real small. For Yamashiro Maru it says it carried 8 aircraft stored aft as there was no hanger or lift. For Akitsushima it lists its armament as "1 large flying boat". Generally when it carries seaplanes Conways says its seaplanes. Seaplanes wouldnt need a flight deck for takeoffs either.
