1.05 Update
Hey guys:
Just an FYI that I will attempt to get a BETA 1.05 ready next week (Not sure of Matrix's holiday schedule yet). I am trying to speed this up a bit so I am pulling the editor and the 1812 scenario out and pushing them to 1.06. If you check the changelog in Mantis then you will notice a ton of changes in 1.05 so I would like for those to get you a little quicker.
BTW: This will have turn skipping!

I do see you're breaking your back on it. I am still at the first patch and observing the forums so that when they all say all has been sorted out, I'll finally start to enjoy it.

Problem of all strategy games is that the more complex they are the more inhumane the task becomes at building their numerous features. Considering everything can go wrong (according to Murphy's law) in any single line of the code, and adding that there's the AI involved, which is definitely always an issue for any coder, I'd say that with his bare hands, Ellis surely hasn't build a flawless product but has still done a great job.
I personally think the best could be achieved in much shorter time if the community volounteered coders and playtesters to build those video tutorials, improve the interface and tooltips, and of course, building a manual worth of the lamest noob (like me) to study learn and play.
Encomiable is the effort, always. I never asked for a refund for this game and i never will. Should I never even play it once, it's my way of showing respect to someone else's skill and commitment and trust what he's doing is the right thing. Keep up.

I would not assume that the digital download version is fully-patched. That's a non-trivial exercise, and the game has spent most of its patching resources fixing bugs. It's possible, but I would wait for Matrix to say that before assuming it.ORIGINAL: adamcs

Just do simple version check at the bottom right of the title screen.
1.04 should be your current version. If not then download the 1.04 patch and you will be OK.

My gawd! All these bugs have been in this game since release? Is this typical in the initial release of a game like this? Hats off to Marshall for "eating the elephant"...I would have choked long ago...
