Yesterday i bought a sports game from EA sports via download purchase.
So i had to dl the EA dl manager.
After installation of the manager, i could dl the game.
21/2 hours later (dl was finished) i tried to start the game with no results.
Error message was something like: pls registrate on the EA Dl manager to secure your property rights of the game.
But i was registrated & online.
So i tried some workarounds that didn´t work.
O.K. look fore the online support.
Any questions will take up to 96 hours for getting a reply. Hm.
There were also some automatically generated "answers" to my question, that directed me to "warhammer", while i bought a sport game. O.k
Some more tries from my side: deinstallation / reinstallation. No result.
Today i called the support by phone & was told: there is a problem with the vaildation of the property rights, we will send you a DVD version of the game. Thats fine & i´m very pleased with, if i get the game.
Compare this to the Matrix procedure.
There i choose a game, buy, dl , & play. Never had a serious problem with that. Also the game code has a meaning. On my EA game ii also got a serial number, but was never asked about it before or after installation.
So, to make things short. i praise that Matrix will stay on their actual dl service.
ok don´t take this post too serious, i´m just a little frustrated, aa i thought i could play a game, while i´m a couple of days off from work, but instead i have to wait until next week (hopefully). - That never happens to me with Matrix.
