What's up with the Japanese replacement schedule in this scenario? I recently moved a BF back to Truk to get all rested and equipped and noticed that it was not replacing any of its AA guns it had lost. I then checked the replacement schedule and noticed that the only element types listed were basically support, engineers and aviation support. No AA guns, artillery pieces or even infantry squads were listed. What's up here?

While I was at it, I checked the Allied replacement schedule and the allies get loads of just about everything under the sun. Chinese rifle squads, Soviet antitank guns, Dutch infantry squads - you name it, they get it. Now I understand that the allies were much better off from a supply and production standpoint, but why are Russian units being available in the South Pacific and the Japanese can't even replace a single infantryman? Seems a bit ridiculous to me.

You should have heard the 'real' japanese soldiers during the war.

Is that Scen #5 (Guad starting in August)?

I don't think there -are- any replacements (at least none that I've seen).

No, it's scenario #4 (Decision in the South Pacific starting in May).

Actually, both scenarios have the same replacement schedule. The Japanese schedule is anemic at best and has some elements that are impossible to use (motorized support and engineer vehicles). The allies on the other hand get tons of replacements. As I said in my original post, I understand that the allies were far better equipped, but the Japanese literally cannot even replace a SINGLE IJA rifle squad or SNLF squad (they don't show up on the replacement schedule - "Industry Replacement Pool").
