Trying to download the big installation file for EiA. The connection breaks and I cannot resume the download from the point where it stopped. I´ve tried to download the updated installation file from the members area (ftp). Trying Orbit, Star downloader and withput. Also trying to trigger download from both firefox and IE. I have no firewall active.

What can I do to resume the download? I guess the login to the ftp server fails!? Is there a username/password that I must configure manually for the reconnect?

I could download smaller patches and the tutorial for EiA without problem. But these were all quite small files. The main installation file is over 160MB in size and so far no attempt have managed to download more than 40 MB...

Thankful for any help!

I've used this download manager before with no issues.

Try using an FTP client like for FTP sites. To get a new download link from the store, go to

FTP kept having problems all along but finally I was able to get the file from the re-download link. (Just got lucky that the connection did not break down that time)

Still do not understand why reconnections always failed from both the FTP and the http download. If I have problems in the future is there a mirror site?
