Reinforceing Corps

Post by Michael T »

I am France. I had a battle with Prussia at Berlin. I reinforced with two corp from the area just west of Berlin. I won the battle. Prussia retreated. My original 4 corps remained in Berlin. The two reinforcing corps are not in Berlin but are in the area just to the west (where they started from before reinforcing). I would have thought that they should be in Berlin where the battle occured. I am sure the boardgame worked this way. And it makes sense that any reinforcing corps should remain in the area where the battle was fought should they win. The way it is now it seems the corps march to the sound of guns, have a fight, then march back to where they came from. Doesn't make much sense.
