My work monitor is a Samsung 205BW 20" widescreen and my home one is the 22" version. Both are excellent monitors.

I'm running a Samsung 204B (4-3 aspect ratio). No probs here either. Only a month or so old.

The most important things are refresh rate - look for 2ms - 5ms.

And a good video card - the nVidia 8800 series can't be beat for price and speed. The video card will determine what you can run. Dvi or Analogue etc.

I love my Acer and you are rolling the dice on anything else for qc. ;) I got my 19" for $95 a few months ago and so far so good. $214 for a 20" is a bit steep actually. Goto UBID.com and bid on a 22" I think those were going for $116 or thereabouts Acers though not Sony or Samsung.

I love Acer! My reccomendation would be to make sure it has resolution in at least the 1600's. I did and I love how crisp the image looks in my games

I'm not gonna comment on the quality of the monitor, one way or the other, except to point out to our readers that the "E" in E207WFP stands for economy. This is true of all Dell E series monitors.
