That is amazing work. Let's hope someone will hire these guys to do a film on Kursk, the Bulge, Antietam or Alesia. Or all of them!

I watch the show yesterday and would never have guessed they only had three people on the beach - very impressive.

It was quite an achievement. Was this something they did as a project for a college course in cinematography? If so, I'm sure they aced the course.

Maybe some ACW re-enactors could try something like this? I just got a digital camcorder... makes we want to try something this ambitious. The idea of filming just three guys over and over running across the beach and then compositing it into a massive invasion is quite a technique, though I suspect to a professional film-maker this is routine stuff with CGI.
