The Book is called " The Night watch", and it's written in english (not translated) by an italian author, who's completely unknown.
What i found particularly interesting is that this is one of those few books that are focused on the "other side of the hill".
The protagonist is an SS, a believer, a man of the party. And he never regrets.
It is a "what if" novel, but it's very detailed in terms of night-warfare and technical manners.
I truly enjoyed the reading, cause it's quite difficult to find a novel written by an author who's a deep conoisseur of the aerial warfare and who doesn't have any fear about having as a protagonist one of those SS-bad-guys....

If you could be interested in the subject, take a look...
