Rather than hijack the Monty thread, I'll start this one. If you have a moustache, used to have one, want to have one or support those that have one, feel free to post (especially with images of moustachioed pride). The moustache is coming back but this bleak period of moustache-based discrimination is the "darkness before the dawn".

Courage brothers! Sisters are welcome to support but I'm drawing the line at them actually having one. I mean...fair go.

Cheers, Neilster

While I once had a mustache similar to yours, one thing just struck me.
Your avitar is clean shaven. Maybe you could update?

My avatar is about 65 years out of date.

Well, you don't have to convince me! I have to say to my hirsute brethren of the 'stache that the discrimination experienced by those with goatees surpasses even that of the mustachioed! Here's a recent picture of me, forced into hard labor as a body porter for my son. I believe my wife issued this command purely because of my goatee. Back when I was clean-shaven, this never happened (of course we had no children then, but that's besides the point).

So, I'm guessing you're all gathered somewhere in the wilds of Montana, living off the land and arming yourselves for the coming apocalypse?

Sadly, I have never been able to grow a decent moustache. The beard grows in fine, but the moustache comes out thin and pathetic, so I don't try anymore.

Word, my brothers. I can only imagine the strength it takes you to struggle against the discrimination you must face each and every day. I hope our wargames make it just a bit easier.

With that said, I think we have the makings of a pretty good ZZ Top Tribute Band here...

Actually, they keep me in an undisclosed, secure location just so that the competing wargame companies can't take out our entire leadership in a single commando strike. There's just enough room here for my family, the computer and some beer.

Regards,

- Erik

Not that it's mainly moustache, and not that I've ever had much of a moustache, but here's http://www.mulletsgalore.com/

I've had a moustache since the day I made E-5 in Oct. '70. Beards of one sort on and off since then also.

yes - it is nice to have a semi-socially-approved method of venting the anger but I can I can live with the disapproval. The problem, you see, is that I have trouble playing a guitar ...... and I thought the drummer, while named Beard, was clean-shaven

I seem to recall he did, in fact, have a moustache.
