I woke up to Renee this morning "It said cheeks, I'll be home around two.You was deep in your sleep. So I didn't want to bother you..."

Damn the 90's had some good music.

+1 billion

The Martians released their black smoke, but the ship sped on, cutting down one of the tripod figures instantly, the others raised their Heat Rays and melted the Thunder Child's valiant heart....

I must say that this is probably my favourite, although lets be honest, the whole damn album is just the dog's dangly bits

The artilleryman and the fighting machine

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DABbtSF4vII

The six guns we had seen now fired simultaneously, decapitating a fighting machine. The Martian inside the hood was slain, splashed to the four winds, and the body, nothing now but an intricate device of metal, went whirling to destruction. As the other monsters advanced, people ran away blindly, the artilleryman among them, but I jumped into the water and hid until forced up to breathe. Now the guns spoke again, but this time the heat ray sent them to oblivion.

The narration is everything. Burton could read the proverbial phone book and get an award.

Okay peeps I think the next officially official all time official chart will be for war movies toons. I put together some tracks for another thread and I think its time to get these (and maybe others) into some sort of official listing that is officially official. Note War movie can be any war - and will accept films related to war without being a war film e.g. Schindler's List or even films that have nothing to do with war e.g. Pearl Harbor....

So peeps you have one week to place your fave war movie track(s) (the more the merrier) here, ahead of the official compilation next week.

Since it started snowing here, I will add to Warspite's Xmas list.

Johnny Cash - Little Drummer Boy
Maria Mena - Home For Christmas
NewSong - The Christmas Shoes
Chris Rea - Driving Home For Christmas

And finally, not a christmas song, but just like Fairytale of New York, I have it on my Christmas playlist on Spotify.
Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros - Home
