What optional rules are most folks using?

I haven't played this in years, but looking at the Opt Rules I'm of the mind to use command control, indirect fire by map. Would also use armor facing, but I understand that the comp. AI wouldnt make use, so this would proably give human too great of an advantage?

In any event, I'd be interested in hearin gwhat other folks thought.

Thanks,
Rick

I prefer to play against human opponents, and when I do all options are on.

You are correct about armour facing when playing against the AI though.

I prefer to play without Armor Facing. I find such features more suited for smaller scaled games with individual vehicles, like CM. I prefer the abstract dice roll on overall attack/ defense values in a game with 250 meter hexes. But the opinions differ on this subject. Many people find it more "fun" to play with the rule on regardless of realism.

I agree. Also Armor Facing brings more micromanagement, which I don't like in general.
