Not to sound like the boring guy on the block, but this fits better in the General Discussion forum..... And as a shameless plug, have a look at the OTWG project as well....

Not a problem for me... and I fully agree about the bright guys statement. As for the General Discussion, the link is in the bold text in my initial reply. Good luck with the game btw

Nuclear war:

I tried DEFCON and did not like it.

I have also played BRD - Bravo Romeo Delta (1993 DOS). A serious game of nuclear war, but after much frustration I couldn't make any progress winning it. Perhaps, that was the point the developer wanted to convey.

Good luck with your game!

I also tried DEFCON(from Introversion). IMHO, it doesn't need any tactical thinking. Fast cliker wins!
The only thing I loved about the game was Soundtrack.

<G> it's got a list of credits already. So I see where your priorities lie Chris.

Isn't it obvious why we are all in this business? For the babes we attract like magnets by playing games about killing other men!

Hi,

I posted the link on Usenet's war-historical newsgroup - a lot of industry people hide in the shadows there.

Greetz,

Alright then, we need to rent this space to Chris. That way I can at least make something out of it.

Dave, I am gonna move this out of here to general disucssion.  I don't want to dilute your forum.  This is, after all, your business.  Someone told me where to put this stuff in General.  The more I think about it, the more I think it belongs there.

Now why is it that gaming doesn't attract women like being a rock and roll star???!?!?!? The fact that I own almost 200 board wargames should make me a virtual Justin Timberlake! *sighs*

An interesting question for evolutionary psychology!

I have been fortunate enough to find a handful of women I have been in relationships with to look the other way and give me my time and space.

Rats! Now, that you have moved this thread, there is zero chance of getting a TT number out of Dave to have nukes included in the estab files! Party pooper, I say; just a little more pressure and I, Ray, and Eddy could have gotten a TT from Dave!

Some of you have talked about ways to make the series more accessible to new players. I think that availability of 10k ton air strikes and 88 fire missions would go a long way to leveling the playing field. Oh, well ...
