Hows the arcade mode is it playable? i just ordered the game and would like to know is it like fbpro arcade mode?

I don't really recall what the arcade mode in FBPro was like. I do recall that earlier versions had a receiver window you used to throw to and the later versions didn't need it due to the 3D game.

I tried to model the arcade play somewhat after NFL Fever 2000 (for the PC). The way you throw to receivers is the same and the general player movement is the same. The kicking mechanism is similar.

Because there are no animations for 'juke' moves (spins, stiff arms, high steps, and others I can think of) I've not put those into the game yet. So player movement is running and side steps (via triggers if your controller has them).

In reading the forums, I've noticed not a lot of people play in arcade mode but those that do have mentioned they find it somewhat easy. I've put some effort into the up coming release to try and add more challenge to it. The overall defensive AI improvements and plays help a lot with that, but there are also some specific things I've done to challenge arcade players only.
