Cary Grant is just cool anyway....did you know he was the original choice for James Bond but he turned it down.

Cary Grant did a few war related films, the best are the comedies:
"Father Goose"
"I was a male war bride"
"Operation Petticoat"
all of them stand up to multiple viewings

not so good was the drama "The Pride and the Passion" despite the valiant efforts of Sophia Lorens twin supporting assets

Cary Grant was a great comedic and dramatic actor, I am slighty biased as I am related to him, unfortunately the suave looks and charm did not extend to my side of the family.
