Re: How to win in 1944 campaign ?

I assume you mean the 1943 campaign, the 1944 campaign has just started in May 44. My game has just reached May44 and while I don't think I've done brilliantly I think I have enough points to survive 2-3 months of Overlord requirements. I use BC to hit cities and Terror is at 14, 205 Group with Libe...

Re: New enthusiast General! But with some questions :)

Some general answers, How I can find the max altitude at which brits fighters are less (or more) efficient? All 3 major fighters have roughly the same max height, I believe they all share similar performance at heights, with the Hurricane a bit behind. Look to history, the game replicates real life ...

Winning a PBEM as Japan?

Holding Burma, DEI, China, New Guinea, Solomons, Gilbert Is, Wake, Dutch Harbour line of defense.

The question is winning, not avoiding defeat.

Are you able to check if this is the result of the unit being withdrawn and arriving as a reinforcement?

Are you playing a mod?

It might be more suited for BTR where just about every Allied aircraft can carry a bomb

I assume you have chosen a Bombing mission.

This button makes available, Fighter type aircraft (not Fighter-Bombers) for a bombing attack.

Re: Questions on automating, naming, etc

Its a long time since I played WITP, but here goes. 1 You can change command of "Commands" to the AI, very much at your own risk. 2 Why would you change names, this is War in the Pacific, not War in Narnia. But the editor does allow you to rename or create anything you want. 3 Supplies are...

Its historically accurate, both sides heavily overestimated opposition losses and damage caused.

<t> A lot depends on what forces you have available and what is the makeup of your TF.<br/> My CTF have (in 1943) 2-3 CV or CVL, 1 BB, 2-4 CA/CL and around 12 DD, sometimes extra BB's or CA/CL's.<br/> <br/> There is no magic formula, you use the forces available ensuring you have enough ASW, AA etc ...

Clarification, the 15AF raid didnt detour via Switzerland, it performed a shuttle raid and landed in the UK!!!!

I dont think I chose a shuttle mission??
