OK great. I'm heading out for the weekend and will take a look next week. I'll see if anything else gets reported. I should get another hotfix out next week. Thanks!

Re: EIA v1.26.02 Beta Hotfix #1 Available

I just had a game hang on AI Spain land moves redeploying. Sounds similar to the issue you mentioned above, but let me know if you want the save. Spain have overseas possessions Morocco and Romagna (pretty impressive for the ai). Earlier in my save I had Prussia in the dominant zone for about 6 mon...

Re: EIA v1.26.02 Beta Hotfix #1 Available

It occurs when the player chooses outflank against an AI op and the pinning force consists of INF and MIL and runs out of INF. If there is no more INF in the pinning force and morale is too low to be able to take MIL losses, then the game gets stuck. roos, I need to clarify. This is for a human pla...

Re: EIA v1.26.02 Beta Hotfix #1 Available

Bug! Hard to provide a save, but you can test in most battles. It occurs when the player chooses outflank against an AI op and the pinning force consists of INF and MIL and runs out of INF. If there is no more INF in the pinning force and morale is too low to be able to take MIL losses, then the ga...

Re: EIA v1.26.02 Beta Hotfix #1 Available

I'd like to add that I've reached back to several of my former players/playtesters to try this latest Hotfix #1 version and provide some feedback. As I mentioned to them, I really need good feedback to get this next version as good as it can get. Frankly, I'm reaching the end of the ToDo List that I...

Re: EIA v1.26.02 Beta Hotfix #1 Available

Hotfix #1 posted above. A couple of items added to the change log. I looked at the Restrictions on Territorial Losses rule (11.9.1.1) again to update documentation and added the one province per victor restriction for the AI only. I also made an adjustment to the AAR move arrows for land moves; I th...

Re: EIA v1.26.02 Beta Available

Alright, we're getting there. I've been wrestling with the 1812 campaign all week. France does well initially in Russia but falters as battles and foraging take their toll. I've got Russia being a bit more aggressive now when the time comes to start pushing back. Cossacks are more active now. As 181...

Re: Stuff from the General

AFAIK, the errata was incorporated into EIA and EIH and implemented in this game. If something isn't and hasn't already been raised as a bug in Mantis these many years, players are welcome to report an issue and I'll take a look. The 1792 Campaign is not included. I've been hard-pressed enough to wo...

I bet if you were to name what you consider to be a "perfect" UI, then you'd quickly find others to argue with you. ;)

Re: EIA v1.26.02 Beta Available

FYI, I have been busy working on a hotfix. I had the 1813 campaign working well. My playtests of the 1812 campaign revealed some issues that I've been working on. I will resume code development next week. Once I have satisfactory playtests for 1805, 1812, and 1813, then I will release the hotfix. I ...

Re: Alternate Dominant Power Morale

I spent some time today revising the Current Nation and Selected Nation displays to show some indication of Alternate Dominant Powers status, with either a +/- 0.50 or +/- 1.00 for the morale effects, if the option is enabled; otherwise these won't show at all. France and Britain would get the negat...

Re: Alternate Dominant Power Morale

Alright, good catch! I needed to fix a couple of things to get this to work as intended. Since the Alternate Dominant Status is checked during economic phase, I advanced your save to verify human Turkey got checked and all other AI powers got checked. The +0.5 morale bonus is now applied, with I Jan...

Re: EIA v1.26.02 Beta Available

In my 1813 AAR, I reported the issue with British I Corps disappearing in Spain and reappearing in Prussia. I suspect there's some glitch associated with the unit grid that displays the units in a selected area, if there happens to be more units present than the grid can handle. I've added a couple ...

Thanks, I'll take a look. May be a good test case to verify the morale changes I coded but didn't get a chance to playtest thoroughly.

EIA v1.26.02 Beta Hotfix #1 Available

Attached Hotfix #1 for the v1.26.02 beta for the next v1.26.xx official patch. This beta version should be applied over the installed EIA v1.25.03 Official Update game files. It includes all of the previous v1.25.03 HOTFIX files. You should be able to extract (copy&paste) the new EXE, \Data\data...

Re: v1.26.02 Beta Playtesting

And here are the final dispositions in Spain. This is not the end of the game, just the end of my playtest and AAR. Overall, I'm please with what I saw with my 1805 playtesting and now with my 1813 playtesting this past week. Along the way I've identified and resolved more issues than I care to coun...

Re: v1.26.02 Beta Playtesting

December 1813. The turn begins with Russia in Instability. But the Prussians, undistracted by the Danzig thorn in their side these many months, return to retake Berlin 70:19, crushing the French and taking Napoleon prisoner. Wellington and I Corps magically reappear in Magdeburg. I have no idea what...

Re: v1.26.02 Beta Playtesting

November 1813. This was amazing. The monster stack of Prussians and Russians attacked Napoleon in Berlin at 119:29, and lost! Nappy still got it. Danzig finally surrendered. The Austrians continue to advance and make some gains, and further south start mopping up and reclaiming their lost territorie...

Re: v1.26.02 Beta Playtesting

In Spain, the French corps retreated from Madrid and the Spanish moved in. The British, less Wellington and I Corps, continue to besiege San Sebastian. The valiant Portuguese have invaded the French homeland, and Jerome does an About Face to bring those 3 French corps back to deal with them. 7 Octob...
