Can't purchase games

I keep getting the below for the past couple of days. Never had an issue before. I have tried different browsers, logged in and not logged in, different credit cards, PC and tablet and phone, etc. Plus I sent an email to the help desk and posted on Facebook.

RE: Players still here?

A little manual effort will not deter me from trying a game or 2, nor anybody else really IMO if someone really wants to play!

RE: Players still here?

Based upon a post by pzgndr I found and joined the groups.io. Hopefully, this post and joining the group will lead to getting a game going. If anybody is interested please pm me.

Thanks,
Tom

RE: Players still here?

With bugs being fixed and PBEM being improved are there and Discord/Groups/Forums to find opponents? At least currently, this forum does not have much activity atm.

<r> <QUOTE><s>
</s>I've been doing development work in 64-bit Win10. You still need to set compatibility mode to WinXp SP2.<e>
</e></QUOTE> <br/> Would the updated engine for Windows 10 require a new game to be started or would the ongoing PEBM game still work?<br/> <br/> Thank you.</r>

RE: After Monty's Front...What do YOU want to see?

<t> I came upon this title just the other night and, more than likely I will be buying it. <br/> <br/> A couple of things along the lines of "What do YOU want to see".<br/> <br/> Unless I am missing something, I would like to see an "Opponents Wanted" dedicated section in this forum thread. I do not...

Yes, I am also wondering if the Gold Edition has anything new to add if you already own all 4 games and have the uploaded the latest patches and the SDK 2.0.

RE: A assigned alliance when neither side asks or accepts

Heard from the Russian player and he did and has been requesting an alliance for many months, Spain did not know, so Spain (the program [:D]) accepted a Russian alliance, without the Spanish player accepting it.

A assigned alliance when neither side asks or accepts

<t> In the game cleaverdevils2 we had an interesting experience. Spain (me) agreed to an alliance with Russia (another human opponent) when neither party asked for nor did Spain have the box checked to automatically accept an alliance from Russia. The only box for accepting an alliance was with Fran...

RE: CleverDevils2 AAR

<t> It has been interesting reading the back and forth commentaries about the game and the cookie-cutter strategies that some are presenting. What seems to have gotten lost is that there are humans behind the game countries and that risk is associated with all that is done and negotiated and what mi...

RE: Please read carefully for new games

<t> We shall see if the concept has some value. I know that I received a lot of interest so I would encourage others to do the same. A lot of players like the quick pace, like Monroe has, and the idea of two games at once. Perhaps after the patch we might see a few dual games for a single group happ...

RE: Please read carefully for new games

Thanks all. We appear to have our 7. Later today I will send out an email with the particulars and we can start the bidding, diplo and, hopefully, time the patch just right.

Please read carefully for new games

<r> I have learned a few things about the EiA PBEM game since I started playing last month. Individuals have the potential to manipulate results and if the game does not move at a quick pace then individuals will lose interest.<br/> <br/> With those few things learned, so far, I am setting out on st...

RE: The possibilty of manipulation

<t> Thanks Richard and I know that it is impossible to balance internal controls with playability. I am actually typing up something now that I would like to try and I will be posting it to Opponents Wanted section. I am going to try and get a principles-based game or two going. I have received a lo...

The possibilty of manipulation

<t> I have been a big EiA fan since 1986, when I first purchased the game and in the past I have spent untold evening playing EiA. I have been reading the forums and the constructive criticism of the game. I am not a programmer, just an accountant, so I know next to nothing about designing a compute...

Yes, the presence of Russian troops in at-risk forage areas for the winter months does warrant concern from the Prussian General Staff.

RE: Monroe - AAR

The winter of 1805 proved to be longer than anticipated, so Russian troops were slow in moving out of her winter quarters. Thankfully the Cossacks were volunteered to plow the road ahead of the main Russian troop columns.
