I cannot get my multiplayer game to load. Is anyone else having this problem?

PS - I have tried with the 1.809 and 1.810 versions

I find steam useless for me as WITE does not run on steam for macintosh, meaning that I must run windows on my iMac anyway to play WITE and therefore do not need steam.
WITE on the mac on steam would be good for me.

I know this has been asked before but I am at that stage of the game as Russian and I must know if fortified zones will stop the finns or do I need units in every hex.

I am happy to play Russian and then German under those rules if you want.

Having tested the waters I want to try a GC as German.
Can do 1-2 turns a week.
