In my game, I just moved a Tac Group with SB specialty (range 14) from Okinawa to NW Borneo = 27 hexes, and a Tac Group with a NA specialty (range 8) from South Japan to North Japan = 15 hexes.

If the weather is say, heavy rain or rain in your turn, is the weather going to be exactly the same for the AI player's turn, or will it be randomized, due to the game engine rules?
The answer will help me plan invasions.
