Hex scale does not matter to me as long as the counters in the hex are legible and don't need a magnifying glass to see what symbols are included, hex info, ect. ect..

Didn't have a pc back then, but did for Sid Meier's: Waterloo, Gettysburg. Antietam games and later using his engine for Austerlitz game (Austerlitz being the best).

Yes, need to learn more about 1863 before jumping on board with this one. Not sure at the moment how battles are resolved, if it is all auto-resolved battles, then I'm not interested, campaigns are of interest though.
