Re: Reserve Pool

How do you know if you run out of pilot slots? Do the recruits stop coming? Why would you want to release a partially trained pilot to make room for a recruit? Or release a fully trained pilot? Do you get PPs?

Re: Reserve Pool

I have never once touched any of those buttons. I didn't know either and I couldn't think of any possible advantage to "releasing" any of them.

Re: New Forum Tips and Issues

I haven't paid attention to this thread so I'm not sure what's been covered. I've noticed that the WitP-AE forum has been unusually quiet post wise since the change but I don't think that explains what I've been seeing under "Who is online". I've seen "geofflambert and 1 guest", ...

Re: Question on Japanese Aircraft

Lowpe -not to hijack a thread, but a question non the less...... What is the advantage of Japanese night fighters that do not have radar over normal fighters used at night? He said the advantage was you could upsize the squadron on a CV then convert the squadron to a night fighter with radar. Most ...

Re: Question on Japanese Aircraft

Japanese night fighters are pretty much useless regardless of model. The Judy recon plane is excellent whether it's on carriers or not. If you want to use them on carriers for some devious plan you make up let the squadron start with 2 or 3 planes with replacements off. If you still have carriers by...

He came back a little later. From these pics I can tell it's a male. Got some nice video of him too.

Re: OT: Something to ponder on?

Okay, Orm, here you go. An American kestrel just took a mouse from under my bird feeders. It flew it up to a telephone pole and I just managed to get 3 pics. Wish I had more time to focus. One of the most beautiful birds you'll ever see. (showing in reverse order)

Sorry, it was difficult to follow along with exactly what your issue was. It was not a "deflection". I am doing my best to answer your questions in the face of your extremely hostile feedback. Kull, I suggest when you're frustrated with Edmon that instead of letting him have it just award...

Re: My reflections on new forum

On those email notifications, it used to be that you could see what the subject of the new thread was without opening the email (which I liked) but now the notification is all "New topic in the witpae forum blah blah blah Hello geofflambert blah blah blah" and nothing about what the new th...

Re: Kamikaze Bellum Pacifica Map

Sorry no one has responded. Are you referring to a map that shows the area the Allies must occupy a base within to trigger the kamikaze rule? I think I saw one once that was inaccurate and may have been before changes were made to that rule.

You can switch them once the squadron gets the kamikaze designation.

Re: RE: Pearl Harbor or Manila?

ORIGINAL: geofflambert ORIGINAL: Q-Ball I wondered if someone would suggest this.....Singapore offers more interesting targets than Manila (a good CL 2 AMCs) and positions you even better for an SRA move. The issue is I wonder if this is gamey or not. There's no way that KB could sail close to Sing...

Re: *URGENT* - fragments of air groups affect 5 group limit on carriers

Unless you can fly something off to get under the max your performance will be impacted. I wish you could disband fragments. I've had fragments with no planes, just pilots and that was a problem.
