I thought combined arms was first really used by Napoleon, and that entailed infantry, cavalry and artillery.

But what I think warspite is reporting is that another definition is land, sea and air.

But I think another definition is also: infantry, cavalry and artillery combined arms tactics, no?

Not checked the game or read in the game manual but wonder if any of the items from The General are included? For example from The General volume 25 number 4: Viva La Revolution: An Official Addition to Empire in Arms (pages 32-35) Errata for Empires in Arms - Insert on page 33. Just curious.
