Enforcer -> 0 Aircraft reported in Carrier Group (2/17/2005 3:35:53 PM)

Has anyone seen this error?

I have a carrier group with 2 CV's Soryu ands Hiryu. It reports 0 carrier planes, but oof course I have roughly 126. when I strkie it will only send out for instance 1 a6m, 2 d3a, 2 b5n.. on all strikes. Has anyone ran into this?

Also I merged some planes into the group now it is listed at home defense. Does it need to say independent? and if so how do I get them back to an independent unit?

Whats the mission type set to?

Enforcer -> RE: 0 Aircraft reported in Carrier Group (2/21/2005 12:12:38 AM)

the zeros are 80% Cap and 20% escort
the Vals and Kates are Naval attack only

No, the actual TF mission type, not what the aircraft are set to.

Air Combat

I had the same problem. You've used all your carrier ordnance. Return the TF to port and resupply, and you can fly missions again.

Note near the # of planes in the left hand top corner, it will say you have 0% strikes remaining. It has a number which is the total number of sorties you can fly, and then in () the percentage remaining. Remember, carriers only have a limited ordnance aboard.

Oh, I'm assuming you mean 0 aircraft reported, not none available because your sortie points are all burned up from flying non-stop for a while ...

Drop by a port and Replenish TF. (should have looked at your # of posts [;)])

Actually Mr Frag, if you have 0 sortie points available, and you mouse over the TF, it reports as 0 aircraft.

Yep, I know, but it should have dawned on me based on the number of posts from Enforcer that he simply hadn't read far enough in the manual to get to the Maximum Sortie value so I was thinking bug [:D]

LOL [:D]
