Fixed messaging on air attacks vs convoys
Fixed no oil naval moves
Added pursuit combat

Naval Combat Additions - take from WarPlan Pacific

Pursuit Combat A fleet composed of battle, cruiser, patrol, and carrier groups may perform pursuit combat after moving and expending all their operation points and their move ends within combat range of the enemy. This allows units to attack enemy fleets even if their operation points are all used. Pursuit combat is done as normal combat with some differences. Moving fleets must be in fleet mode, not have been interdicted, not end their move in port, and not combine with another fleet. Normal search rolls are made. Any combat is at 50% combat value. Surface fleets will not succeed in pursuing a carrier fleet.

It was brought to my attention, and even in my own experience, there was no real danger to running around the Atlantic as a German raider.

Now I am working on auto convoy protect for CVs to reduce micromanagement chasing and moving subs.

Have you been able to fix the Gibraltar situation for the fleets?

I had to remove the West landing zone all together. I would have to rework the map.

1.00.081 has no West Landing zone.

I have been doing a lot of research on Gibraltar and it's position. By all my research it can't be invaded from the west without controlling the straights which are well West of it's location. Either the Allies have to invade Spain or invade Morocco then grab a port from the other side or come from Egypt.

Originally I didn't allow invasions of it.

The issue is a coding issue that creates a very unique situation in path finding I can't compensate for.

The think is the Allies absolutely need Morocco or Spain to invade Gibraltar. So I might leave is as is.

The scenario is re-updated removing the West landing zone. I updated it the same day I posted it.

Gibraltar with the Beta is easier to capture with the one landing zone. The trick of moving fresh units in and out will only quicken its fall. It will still require a substantial force , IMO, as it should, but it is possible and will take less time than 0.081.

There is a beach with Malta; not that taking it is easy. I've tried in two games with massive air power, but I used an Italian corps, which failed both times miserably. Next time I'll use a German corps with twice the firepower.

Yes but when I read the new landing zone near Gibraltar allows to reembark troops and replace them with fresh ones, I want the same for Malta. Otherwise, the beach is just a death trap.

I don't think I made myself clear. Sorry for the confusion. German troops cannot reembark. A gamey trick to keep Gibraltar is after a few attacks, the UK unit could ship back to the UK and a fresh UK unit from England could transport into port.(The distance was within 48 hexes of most ports in England) If the Allied player rotated 3 such units, Gibraltar would never fall as it would always have a fresh troop, near full strength in the port(v0.081). If the UK player does that now with the current beta, and their is a fleet blockade in place, that transport could/will take heavy damage and place Gibraltar in jeopardy. If the UK leaves his forces in place, it takes an extremely large force and a little luck to possibly take it. (It could also cost you the game trying)
