Viggen27210 -> Aircraft hit calculation (8/14/2020 11:24:27 AM)

Good day! Please tell me how the hit on the plane is calculated. The final result.

Kushan04 -> RE: Aircraft hit calculation (8/14/2020 1:58:59 PM)

How about you just turn it on in the message log it will tell you everything you need to know.

Pretty demanding for a first post, I must say.

To elaborate on Kushan04's post, in the game settings there is a series of checkboxes giving you options on what to display in your message log. The box you want to check is called "Weapon Endgame Calculations" or something like that (I don't have the game in front of me).

If you check that box, your message log will display the calculations used for each weapon or shot fired. Base hit %, any modifiers, results of countermeasures, etc., and then the final base chance to hit. And, of course, the final die roll!

dcpollay is correct.

See attached pic.
Check this box and you get all calculations for every weapon endgame.

Possibly a non-English speaker??

thewood1 -> RE: Aircraft hit calculation (8/15/2020 2:26:31 AM)

Why does that matter?

Dimitris -> RE: Aircraft hit calculation (8/15/2020 7:34:30 AM)

Guys, let's chill. The guy asked a question and a few here already pointed to the answers. Let's move on!

Viggen27210 -> RE: Aircraft hit calculation (8/15/2020 10:23:55 AM)

Thanks everyone! I really do not speak English)) Probably not correctly formulated the question. The FINAL result of hitting is admissible 50, hit ... or 10 - miss, does it depend on the size of the target?

KLAB -> RE: Aircraft hit calculation (8/15/2020 11:37:29 AM)

It's as close to "real" as you can be within the confines of a simulation.
The computer models multiple variables.
If you launch an ancient missile at the extreme of its range against an ace pilot in a 5th generation super maneuverable fighter with a raft of countermeasures expect to miss repeatedly (until they shoot your aircraft down) 😁 .
If you launch your uber missile at mid range well within its no escape zone against a transport aircraft with a novice pilot that has no countermeasures expect to hit it most of the time.
