bcbarnesRR -> [FIXED B1139.2] Cavitation while slowing down (8/24/2018 5:28:25 PM)

Why does a ship cavitate while slowing down (from above cavitation speed). Can't they match the rotation of the screws to the speed of the water flowing over them? Is there some other reason cavitation continues?

zakblood,

Thanks for this reference. I've added it to CMANO's unofficial Dropbox reference library.

There was an issue on how cavitation was calculated, which has been resolved in Build 1139.2.
