Download: https://drive.google.com/file/d/18dMnUcmnx2bWnUJDA8E-5ctK7jb5jMwp/view?usp=sharing

(This update should also become available through Steam and Matrix-Updater after a few days).

Build 998.10 Release Notes (changes/additions from B998.9)
=====================================================================

* FIXED: Weapons with datalink + TSARH guidance (e.g. SM-2/Aegis) evaluated their illumination/blind status throughout their flight instead of just on terminal mode. This rendered all but the very first weapons in an AAW salvo blind, as in this example: http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=4509033
* FIXED: ARMs fired in BOL mode dive straight into the ground upon reaching the seeker activation point
* Fixed: #12451 - Sub under AI control not recharging battery
* FIXED: Timed events not triggering when game runing exactly 24 hours
* FIXED: Sim-freeze if unit cannot find a suitable place to move for cargo mission
* FIXED: AI-controlled platform not taking kinematic-range torpedo shots when relevant doctrine option is enabled
* FIXED: Can take control of cut-wire torpedo by an indirect GUI trick
* Added: Check for IR sensors when evaluating submarine mast sensors
* Added: Submarines only use "Mk1 Eyeball" when on the surface (ie. not on periscope depth)
* Lua: Added 'remove' option to SE_SetEvent()
* Lua: Added weapon causing damage to Event_Damaged/Destroyed
* Lua: Added property 'classname' to unit wrapper
* Lua: Clear Lua.UnitY on Damage/Destroy Event
* Lua: Fixed event crash due to invalid object
* Tweak: #12427 - Add feedback to cargo mission

* Includes the v475 update for the DB3000 database.

* Significant DB3000 database update: Added discrete sensors for submarine periscopes & masts, including 50+ periscope and photonics mast types and components; Mk1 Eyeball is now only available when submarines are surfaced.

giantsquid -> RE: Command v1.14 update - Build 998.10 (7/30/2018 11:11:50 AM)

Outstanding work, thank you.

About: "* Significant DB3000 database update: Added discrete sensors for submarine periscopes & masts, including 50+ periscope and photonics mast types and components; Mk1 Eyeball is now only available when submarines are surfaced".

How do we know capabilities of those new periscope and masts? I cannot see any news in Database under sensors and periscopes. I checked some modern sub like Virginia, U212, U214

Thanks again!

Francesco

c3k -> RE: Command v1.14 update - Build 998.10 (7/30/2018 12:22:00 PM)

Great stuff!

Of course, even when surfaced, the periscope/photonics mast will still be used for spotting, in addition to the Mk I eyeballs, right?

apache85 -> RE: Command v1.14 update - Build 998.10 (7/30/2018 1:14:36 PM)

Yes that's correct, periscope and photonics are used at periscope depth and shallower (including suefaced) however mk 1 eyeball is now only available for submarines on the surface, representing deck watch lookouts.

Dwaltemath -> RE: Command v1.14 update - Build 998.10 (7/30/2018 1:34:08 PM)

Assuming that's the "UpdatePack_B998.10.zip (259M) is too large for Google to scan for viruses" message, click "Download anyway".

Implemented Sharana's Russian aircraft loadout updates

Could you be a bit more specific about this? Would like to know which aircraft received changes. Or a link to the forum discussion please if there was one.

Thanks,

Zoroastro

How to upgrade to the latest version of DB if customizations have been made to some plaforms in a scenario.

If I apply an INI file,the new sensors will not appear?.

Whicker -> RE: Command v1.14 update - Build 998.10 (7/31/2018 6:12:06 AM)

Thanks!

I feel like I post a lot of issues but I appreciate all the work that goes into this and think it is a great game!

I tested a deep rebuild of scenario "you Brexit you fix it" with .ini applied and the new sensors appeared

Doctorwarthog -> RE: Command v1.14 update - Build 998.10 (7/31/2018 6:51:44 AM)

Thanks!

Edit: And an extra big thank you for adding Gurkhas and PLA SF!

LORDPrometheus -> RE: Command v1.14 update - Build 998.10 (7/31/2018 9:30:37 PM)

Any plans on adding the Kh-47M2 Kinzhal and the MiG-31K launch platform?
Also if i cant wait can i just place the new database file in my steam installation and have it work?

While it's kind of known what the MiG-31K is (removed radar, extra comms and so on) it's a lot more complicated with the missile itself. There isn't much data to even make proper guesstimate.

giantsquid -> RE: Command v1.14 update - Build 998.10 (8/1/2018 11:05:17 AM)

Thanks, it works. Now I see all the sensors! Great work
No data about periscope/mast in Properties, but I don't know if they are presented.

Francesco

LORDPrometheus -> RE: Command v1.14 update - Build 998.10 (8/2/2018 3:31:12 PM)

That's a good point. All that I could find is that it most likely uses an iskander 1st stage as its booster but that only gives some info. Dimensions can be extrapolated from the pictures of it on a MiG-31 but if you cant tell anything else what can you expect?

I'm assuming this is the same reasoning behind the lack of the Lider class destroyer.

Last question: any thoughts on adding the LRASM to us navy F-35C layouts? Or perhaps the JSM?

magi -> RE: Command v1.14 update - Build 998.10 (8/7/2018 4:57:52 AM)

thank you... you are the tops...

c3k -> RE: Command v1.14 update - Build 998.10 (8/7/2018 2:10:01 PM)

Glad the update is here. Still waiting for it to post on Steam.

DrRansom -> RE: Command v1.14 update - Build 998.10 (8/9/2018 3:40:47 PM)

HAWC? may have an official designation: AGM-183A Air-Launched Rapid Response Weapon. It is a boost-glide missile but no details beyond that.

Let's pick this up on the DB3K thread, but HAWC (and HCSW) is a different program than TBG --> ARRW. IIRC both HAWC and HCSW are hypersonic cruisers (similar to Zircon), while TBG is a HGV.

Our heads hurt when we researched the public info on all the different hypersonic programs in development.

AlphaSierra -> RE: Command v1.14 update - Build 998.10 (8/9/2018 11:28:28 PM)

Belay My Last on the Island Issue.

The MK6 Load out is awesome

Thank You
