Hey Julian,

does that mean you found a way to make it work on 4k or did you just give up ;-)

Lunex,
Would it be possible for you to publish the source code of this app? I'm currently learning WPF/MVVM so it would be nice to see how did you code this thing.

Lunex -> RE: [Tool] Command Scenario Browser - CMANO Scen View (8/28/2019 2:35:12 PM)

It's Windows Forms in VB.net, so not exactly what you are looking for.
In addition the commenting is bad and in German and I am ashamed of my programing style :P

Nonetheless, if you still want it I could provide you with the sourcecode, just pm me your email.

regards,
Lunex

If it's not C#/WPF there's no use then. Thank you though! This is a nice app. No need to worry about the code quality if application is working fine[;)]

Does this tool work with the new Command Modern Operations?
Thanks

Hi Tom,

I can't tell as I down own modern operations.
But I read old scenarios work with the new version so I guess the scenario structure remains unchanged.
This means the scenario browser should still work, too.
Could you give it a try and report back?

thanks,
Lunex

mikerohan -> RE: [Tool] Command Scenario Browser - CMANO Scen View (12/31/2019 8:51:54 AM)

Seems to be working!

I see no differences when selecting the CMANO or the CMO folder.

Thanks for testing!

Yes it does. At least for me anyway.

Hello !

I have an error message when I tried to launch the tool : "Your security parameters don't allow the installation of this application on your computer".

Any idea ?

Thanks !

Hi,

this seems to be your problem:
https://superuser.com/questions/1252575/unable-to-install-clickonce-application-due-to-security-settings-windows-10

quote:

To enable the ClickOnce trust prompt by using the registry editor Open the registry editor:

Click Start, and then click Run.

In the Open box, type regedit, and then click OK.

Find the following registry key:

\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\.NETFramework\Security\TrustManager\PromptingLevel

If the key does not exist, create it.

Add the following subkeys as String Value, if they do not already exist, with the associated values shown in the following table.

Can you try if this works for you?

greetings
Lunex

MirabelleBenou -> RE: [Tool] Command Scenario Browser - CMANO Scen View (2/10/2020 1:38:26 PM)

That works ! Thanks !

Hi Lunex, thanks for making this awesome tool!

I have a feature request and a bug report. Firstly, please could you add the ability to filter out scenarios already played? (maybe those with a score added, unless there is a better way).

The bug report is that I could not add a negative score, i.e. enter a minus symbol into the score field. There is a workaround but it relies on me playing better!

Lunex -> RE: [Tool] Command Scenario Browser - CMANO Scen View (4/16/2020 11:09:25 AM)

Hi,

I will look into it and update it when I find the time ;-)

Excellent. Grat work Lunex!

swedishchef -> RE: [Tool] Command Scenario Browser - CMANO Scen View (4/23/2020 9:50:44 AM)

Thanks Lunex, I've got the update and it's great. I added my negative score to that scenario I didn't so well in, haha.

One question, where is the data stored please? I'd like to back up my comments/scores.

So you've given us a way to easily see which scenarios haven't yet been played, which is awesome. Related to that, I do have one other suggestion to consider. Which is to add a 'rating' field to allow us to rate if we enjoyed the scenario or not, and a way of filtering on that. This would allow the player to see which scenarios they enjoyed playing in case they want to replay them. I know in various games I tend to end up with favourite missions that I replay a lot.

Thanks for your hard work!

Lunex -> RE: [Tool] Command Scenario Browser - CMANO Scen View (4/23/2020 10:02:41 AM)

Hi,

the scores/comments are stored right next to the scenario files with the scheme [scenariofilename].note
The notes are simple xml files.
Scenario rating would be great if it could be shared with others. I do consider adding a local rating score but I don't have the time right now.

Lunex

Perham -> RE: [Tool] Command Scenario Browser - CMANO Scen View (5/21/2020 6:47:16 AM)

Hi looks great but how do I install it? Ran setup from the desktop but nothing shows up. What am I missing?

Lunex -> RE: [Tool] Command Scenario Browser - CMANO Scen View (5/21/2020 8:48:47 AM)

Hi Perham,

are you on windows 10? You should be able to execute the download but there can be, depending on Browser and operating system, multiple warnings because I cant afford an official developer certificate to sign the software.

If you get this warning:

you can continue under "More info".

regards
Lunex

Perham -> RE: [Tool] Command Scenario Browser - CMANO Scen View (5/21/2020 2:37:03 PM)

Hi Lunes
I don't get that message. I run the installer and get a message window headed Unknown Publisher. I then select the run option and everything looks like a nomal install. But I can't then find the app.
Should I be running the setup app from somewhere other than the desktop? Not in either of the Programs folders on C: or in the CMO folder
I'm running win 10, fully up to date as of last Wednesday. CMO is running from Steam on a dedicated Games drive (D:).

mikerohan -> RE: [Tool] Command Scenario Browser - CMANO Scen View (5/21/2020 2:48:10 PM)

Try typing "CMANO" in the botton left search bar (the one with the magnifying glass) and see if "CMANO Scen View" shows up...

correct, sounds like the install succeeded.
CMANO Scen View should be in your startmenu now.

Do as mikerohan said or just hit the windows Key and start typing "CMANO"
