In my first AAR when the Iraqis revolted I got an Indian Corps in Basra. This game I have got two Indian Corps plus an HQ. The decision screenshot says I get a corps. Is this a bug or is there an element of chance as to how much reinforcement the British get?

And I also get this confirmation. Nothing about Ritchie or the XXI Corps so suspect this is a bug....

Sounds strange, I always got just one corps.

Playing the allies I have only ever got the 1 Indian corps, so I always move 1 from Egypt there. As the axis the Brits always have 2 corps and sometimes an air or 2 and a HQ, Dang cheating AI anyways. I have also seen that the AI can place, move and attack with a new unit on the turn of placement, Saw this with the tank unit in Egypt.

Thanks for reporting this, it is a bug as you shouldn't be getting it. Very strange.

Though could it be that you changed the AI settings for controlling the Allies at all? Even if just briefly?

I might be clutching at straws but if you can remember that would be great.

Bill

Bill - unfortunately I cannot remember for certain. As you can see at the start of my AAR I posted the Polish forces. To do that I needed to be set as the Axis. What I cannot recall for certain is whether I took this shot and then set up a new game OR achieved this by switching sides. My intention was to switch sides - so I would say it is more likely that I did do this right at the start of the game.

Thanks. I'll mention this to Hubert in due course as a theory for why this might have happened, just in case a tweak to the code is required.
