HeadlessHessian -> NEW_WAW_PUBLIC_BETA some questions (12/19/2014 7:47:43 PM)

"Please" is implied in all questions :-)
Question 1: there are two files 'East Front 1941' and 'East Front 1941 (Vic AI Edit) v2'. can someone state the differences.
Question 2: we are playing 'East Front 1941'. Upper right corner of screen, right after 'Steel' there is a MORE button, press it and you get to see Specialist and Manpower. Manpower goes down as you 'recruit', how do you get it to go up?
Question 3, last question: clicking on OKW you get the subformations screen. Way on the right it tells you FAC, GER. GER is german, what does FAC mean.
thanks all

I can answer number 3:

Fac, is Factory People. It is a people type that has been in WaW for ATG since it began. It has a dual purpose. One is that your factories won´t increase their production when you select the improve production cards, the 2nd purpose is tied to the first. That is the factories won´t count towards the cost of upgrading your economy.

Hi again,

I checked the files, cause I thought I remembered something about the WaW for ATG series of games. The thing I remember is that you start out with a fixed amount of Manpower, and that each turn (i believe) a certain amount is added. This is automatic. You need do nothing.

The addition to Germany for instance is 60 Manpower pr. turn.

As regards to the first question, I believe that the the (Vic AI edit) is perhaps the version that plays best against the AI, but you would really have to ask Vic, for the differences.
