zoot -> playing games on android 2.2 tablet (7/24/2011 4:48:20 PM)

I am thinking of buying a tablet for traveling and would like to hear from people who play games on them such as role RPG's, total war games, and matrix games such as The East Front by GG and the the new panzer game that was just released. Also why are android tablet so much cheaper then I pads?
Thanks
Zoot

I have a netbook for travel.

It Runs WIN 7.

It will run any Matrix Game that does not require large amounts of processing power.

It also has a cut down spread sheet and word processor.

And of course wireless and bluetooth.

As a result it can do more than any tPad, iPad or any other Pad.

Does your netbook run WiTP or Witpae? That's another reason to have a game registered online with Matrix, no CD drive to install.

I've had the $400 HP DM1 since May and it is a thing of beauty. Windows 7 with the new dual core AMD Fusion processor, no problem with any of the Matrix games, including WITE, Panzer Corps, WiTP, etc. (I have most of the Matrix library). Among the things I enjoy most about this little beauty is the 9 hour battery life, and that is no exaggeration, even playing games. Turn off the wireless and you can game for hours while sitting at the beach or wherever. I wouldn't trade it for a current generation tablet! With wireless on I'm averaging around 6 hrs battery life playing games, closer to 9 when limiting myself to web surfing or office type applications.

After looking at the specs the answer is: most likely.
