Can't load FS Germany Reforged - HELP

Hello, Purchased FS Germany Reforged today (1st Jan 22). Successfully download it but cannot get it to run. Patch Red Storm to 2.10 but when I try to load Reforged it comes up saying invalid serial number. Not using steam as I don't like it. So can anyone help to Reforged to run, Thanks in advance RJG

Try updating Red Storm to 2.14, then try to install Germany Reforged.

Hi CapnDarwin thanks for your quick reply. I have tried what you suggested and game updated to 14 and seemed OK. However still won't take Reforged and still saying invalid serial number. What I did encounter though when updating from 10 to 14 was the following message.
Set up has detected that this computer does not meet the requirements to install this software. The following blocking issues must be resolved before you can install Microsoft Visual C++2010 x 86 Redistributable set up of software package.
PLEASE RESOLVE THE FOLLOWING.
A newer version of Microsoft Visual C++2010 Redistributable has been detected

Can you tell me what to do to get Reforged running? Thanks in advance RJG

I have the following suggestion:

first uninstall all.

Install then

1. Flashpoint Campaigns: Red Storm Player's Edition
2. Flashpoint Campaigns: Germany Reforged
3. Update v2.0.14

Hi CptnDarwin & Jo - I should also point out that my game disc does not say Player's Edition - just Flashpoint Campaigns RED STORM - would this have any bearing on my problem?

The 2.06 is the Player upgrade. So uninstall all. Load the game, update to 2.06, try Germany reforged, if it works go to the 2.14 update. If the code fails on the GR again. Open a ticket on the Matrix Support forum for that.

Hi all, Re-problem installing German Reforged. Joe Miller at Matrix Support has tried for a couple of weeks now to help me install the game, so many thanks to him for putting in the time and effort which I much appreciate. However at the end of all efforts no luck in installing. He suggested trying STEAM and the game now runs perfectly. But, really what is the problem? I don't know. Was the same game key used for both installs?

The right thing to do is obviously to use the game key for FC when installing the base game. When installing FC:GR you have to use the key for that one and not the key for the base came. (In other words; there are two separate game keys you have to use) The final step is to install the 2.0.14 update. Result: success
