What are the categories synthetic oil and shell production for? I don't see any country having access to these techs.

Techs which weren't enabled. There are some artifacts (uncoded features) of that sort littered throughout the game code: mulberries & bridges for example.

So there are many of these out there are there? That explains a lot. I have been struggling to figure out various features. I did not consider that they may not be enabled. Thanks, j

Hi Joey,

I believe only those two research categories are not in effect in game and I think that is about it in terms of features not currently directly implemented, e.g. that you would notice when playing the default game and campaigns as is.

However, if you dig into the Editor and create your own customized campaigns, as Elessar noted, you may come across other non implemented features such as Bridges and Mulberries etc.
